If you're like me, you enjoy the music programming on WTCI more than just about anything else. Well, I'm glad to tell you that April's a great month for music!
Be sure to catch the great John Prine on
Austin City Limits this weekend. There's a preview online too if you're not familiar with his music. He performs "Long Monday" from his fantastic 2005 release "Fair & Square"
right here. ACL is on Saturday night at midnight. They've also got
a pretty cool blog here.
And of course, we can't forget one of our local favorites, Southern Accents! Karen Elliott hosts a special edition from Nashville. We visit the "mother church of country music", the Ryman Auditorium, the amazing "cowboy couture" designer, Manuel (with one name, he's gotta be great, right?), RCA Studio B (think Presley, Orbison, Parton...) and a bus tour of the homes of your favorite country music superstars. We're editing it now and we'll have it ready for the premiere on April 26th at 5:30pm and the encore on Sunday, the 27th at 1:30pm. We hope you'll join us.
