It's an underdog story Charles Dickens himself would love.  Amid all the nominations for cable powerhouse HBO and other networks, PBS's Little Dorrit, took home more Emmy statues than any other program on television.  The Masterpiece Classic series took home statues for directing, writing, cinematography, art direction, casting, costumes, and finally best miniseries.
