WTCI Director of Membership Awarded Masters of Public Administration
WTCI is proud to congratulate Cynthia Wilson, Director of Membership, for earning her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Valdosta State University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and is a native of Northwest Georgia. Cynthia lived, studied and worked in New York City for many years and enjoys serving as on-air talent, producer and voice-over artist for WTCI.
Cynthia Wilson joined WTCI in 2014 and has a background in the performing arts and non-profit management. As Director of Membership, Cynthia manages the membership experience for the Tennessee Valley’s community PBS station. During her tenure, Cynthia has added to the membership benefits available to supporters of WTCI and has successfully produced and served as on-air talent for the station’s live pledge drives.
WTCI members supporting the public television station at a $60+ per year or above membership level now receive complimentary subscriptions to the Chattanooga Magazine and the station’s program guide, the Viewfinder. Under her guidance, WTCI became one of the first public television stations in the country to offer the Passport benefit to its members, providing online, on-demand access to local and national PBS programming.
